Centrifugal Wash Pumps

After milk collection the milk tank needs to be thoroughly cleaned to eliminate bacteria and prevent high counts.  Most tanks have an automatic cleaning system using hot and cold water and cleaning agents which are circulated by the centrifugal wash pump.

It is important that the pump body is able to withstand high and low pH and abrasion from different water types and chemicals.  Sirem’s range of centrifugal wash pumps for milk cooling tanks have been designed to meet this criteria.
